Recording calls

This feature enables call recording of all your telephone numbers associated to your account. The recordings are in WAV format and are stored for 30 days.

This feature is available for Essential plan accounts. For more information on getting an Essential plan account, see User account plans.

How do I configure the feature?

The following procedure describes how to configure call recording at the bot level.

  1. In the Navigation pane, select Bot connections.

     

  2. Click Edit on the bot connection for which you want to enable call recording.

  3. Click the Features tab.

  4. Under the 'Select features for your bot connection' section, click one of the following toggle switches to turn on the required Call Recording feature:

By default, both toggle switches are off. Only one switch can be enabled at any one time.

  1. Click Update.

The call recording feature takes 1-2 minutes to start working after enabling it for the first time on your account.

Downloading and playing call recordings

The following procedure describes how you can download and play the recorded call.

1. In the Navigation pane, select Call History.

2. In the call table, select the recorded call that you want to download and play. For details, see Call Recording.

If there is more than one recording for the same call, you can only download and play the first recording only.
